Domain Setup with A and CNAME Records

Connecting Domain to Host with A and CNAME Records

To connect your domain to any DNS provider, it is necessary to add two specific records: an A record and a CNAME record. The configuration process, as an example for Cloudflare, is illustrated in the image below.

Instead of the IP address displayed in the example, you must use the IP address of your hosting server. Once the domain is connected to your hosting panel, the server IP address will be available for use. As demonstrated, after adding the required records, you need to update the DNS nameservers provided by Cloudflare in your domain service to establish the connection between your domain and hosting. Please allow some time for these changes to propagate and take effect.

Alternatively, rather than creating an A record, you may choose to configure only a CNAME record. In the "Value" or "Content" field, enter the corresponding CNAME. In the "Name" field, specify your domain name.

After adding the records, ensure that the Cloudflare DNS nameservers are updated in your domain service. Allow some time for the domain to be successfully connected and activated.
